Art Components was founded in 1999 and is based in Cambridgeshire, the heart of UK science and technology development. The company exists to supply a vast range of electronic components (semi-conductors, passives, electromechanical) and associated goods which are delivered in a format tailored to individual customer requirements.

Art Components was conceived to provide a service to a small number of customers who wanted an experienced buyer for a diverse range of components but had insufficient requirement to justify an internal resource. Since then the company has grown and has many more customers, some in the UK, some overseas, but retains its remit of providing an external, specialist resource for your buying department or, for some customers, taking the role entirely.
